Islandmagee Storage Limited announcement
Moyle Energy Investments (part of the Mutual Energy group), together with independent gas storage and petroleum exploration company InfraStrata plc are partners in Islandmagee Storage Limited (IMSL). IMSL is developing a project to build a gas storage facility below Larne Lough.

1. The proposed storage facility is designed to store 500 million cubic metres gas in seven caverns to be created at a depth of 1,500 metres within a Permian salt sequence below Larne Lough. The facility will be the largest on the island of Ireland and is designed to supply up to 5% of UK and Ireland demand on a peak day.
